District Recognition Award Nominations for T777 Adult Volunteers are due this week.

Posted on Mar 11 2015 - 12:07am

It takes many adult volunteers to run the Scouting program both at the troop and district levels.

One of the ways we have to recognize their contributions is by using the adult awards provided by the Ottawa District.  The nominations are due this Thursday by 6pm.

I encourage you to think of several adults that have made a contribution to Scouting in our unit and beyond.  Then, submit the nomination forms below to Linda Wallner's email by Thursday:

  • Nominate up to 3 adults for the Trailblazer award for their contribution to the Troop over the past year.
  • Nominate 1 adult for the District Award of Merit for contributions to the Scouting program beyond our unit.  This would include involvement with Troop 777 and the Order of the Arrow, Roundtable, Jamboree, another Cub Scout unit, Commissioner or other multi-unit activities.
