Meeting every Tuesday night during the school year at 7:30pm in the First United Methodist Church gym on 8 Mile Rd.

Tuesday was the LAST day to submit recharter paperwork to the Front Desk staff,  If you missed the deadline, please contact  Colleen Sygar or Monifa Henry.

Scouts need to be registered to earn advancement

Adults need to be registered to attend camp or be in a leadership role

If you miss the recharter date, you may be required to submit a new BSA application and background check (for adults)

Scout BSA Troop 777 for Girls - Now accepting pre-registration

Northville’s New Scouts BSA Unit for Girls


The Northville girl troop is open to all girls age 11-17

  • Current youth membership requirements apply to girls
  • Girls age 11-17 are encouraged to pre-register now
  • Female Venturers can be dual register in a Scouts BSA troop to earn Eagle Scout rank 
  • Cub Scout Webelos crossover / register after completing Arrow of Light requirements

First United Methodist Church of Northville (FUMC) will charter Scouts BSA Troop 777 for girls

  • The Church charters Troop 777 (for boys) and Crew 777 (for older co-ed youth) with trained and experienced female leaders
  • Girls will have their own Scoutmasters and will have female adult leaders at all activities
  • The leaders will mentor the girls in running the Troop 777 Scouting program
  • Girls will be in gender specific patrols and the unit will follow all BSA youth protection guidelines
  • The unit will be “linked” to Boy Scout Troop 777 and share in outings, advancement, meetings, and leadership
  • Weekly Tuesday meetings during school year - 7:30 – 8:45 pm at FUMC
  • Unit activities are planned to start in mid-December
  • Monthly campouts, summer camp, high adventure, and advanced youth training retreats
  • All girls will participate in a 1st Class skills program to enable a quick path 1st Class rank in 1st year

Scouts BSA Troop 777 registration is open now!  Official launch on February 1, 2019

  • Attend any Tuesday 7:30 pm meeting to pre-register
  • 11-17 year old girls can pre-register now and star attending all activities in advance of 2019 launch
  • Webelos girls can start visiting Scouts BSA Troop 777 now as a guest
  • Rank advancement will begin on February 1, 2019. BSA Waiver grants new youth age 16-17 extra time to earn Eagle rank
  • BSA will officially recognize the Inaugural Class of Female Eagle Scouts in the fall of 2020
















Order of Arrow Meeting and Brotherhood Opportunity - Thur 11/8

This Thursday, November 8th, there will be an OA  Jeopardy night at the monthly Ottawa meeting!
  • We hope you all will come and bring your best “intel” for a chance to win our jeopardy game.
  • Gather at 7:00, meeting will start at 7:30 at the Walled Lake Church of Christ on North Pontiac Trail.
  • Pizza and pop will also be available.
TO ALL BROTHERHOOD-ELIGIBLE MEMBERS, there will be a Brotherhood ceremony at this meeting too! 
  • After 10 months of service as an Ordeal member and fulfilling certain requirements, a member may take part in the Brotherhood ceremony
