Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 777 - Programs for both Girls and Boys (Northville, MI)

   

Located in Northville, MI since 1999, we average between 50-80 co-ed Scouts.  

Meeting every Tuesday night during the school year at 7:30 pm (PLC starts at 7:00 pm) in the First United Methodist Church gym on 8 Mile Rd.

We offer traditional Scouts BSA program units for girls and boys ages 10-17 and a co-ed Venturing program for youth 14-20.

Our youth also run advancement assistance programs for area Webelos I and II Den Leaders.

Troop 777 Order of the Arrow scouts are asked to sign up as staff for this Saturday's Father's Day Tri.  

10-12 OA Scouts are needed to run several Stage stations, give directions, keep official score and mark the course.

Please select a station by registering on-line

Scouts called out this year may serve as OA staff for this event. 

2017 National Jamboree Registration Open

The 2017 National Scout Jamboree will be held from July 19 to July 28, 2017.

Registration is open now.  Sign-up early to increase chances of being assigned to the Northville contingent troop before all 36 slots are gone!

In 2009, the BSA purchased 10,600 acres of property adjacent to West Virginia’s New River Gorge National River area in order to create the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve. The Summit is the new home of achievement, adventure, and innovation in Scouting. With world-class facilities and a focus on outdoor action sports, the Summit welcomed Scouts to a whole new jamboree experience in summer 2013. 2017.  Ask any Scout that attended in 2017, most are going back!   Read more for participant requirements.

OA CPT Trek 2015-11W Court of Honor is Tuesday at 7:15pm

Order of the Arrow members that completed the Chief Pontiac Trial requirements for the past winter trek will be awarded their medals on Tuesday at 7:15 in the FUMC sanctuary just prior to the start of the Troop CoH.

Dear OA Chapter Brothers,

This year has been a great year for Ottawa.  Please join us for our Annual Dinner June 11th starting at 6:30pm at The Walled Lake Church of Christ (our normal meeting location)  We will be catered by Dickies BBQ.  The cost is $10.00 per person.  You must register by June 4th or RSVP to this email address.  Very sorry for short notice.  We have been unable to use the server to send emails until today.  Pulled Pork, Brisket and all the fixings.

We will have Chapter Elections.  A state of the Chapter Speech, Awards, and more fellowship.  Every youth is encouraged to become a chapter officer or committee chairman. 

New Ordeal members are encouraged to attend.

Senior Patrol LeaderOn 5/12, Nikhil was elected as the next Troop 777 SPL.  His message to the troop - "You should go to summer camp, I have been to summer camp the last 3 years and will be going again this year."   

Nikhil also committed to defer working on his Eagle project so he could better serve the Troop in this leadership position.  Scouts and parents, take a moment to congratulate him for his service and offer any advice you may deem useful.
