Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 777 - Programs for both Girls and Boys (Northville, MI)

Located in Northville, MI since 1999, we average between 50-80 co-ed Scouts.

Meeting every Tuesday night during the school year at 7:30 pm (PLC starts at 7:00 pm) in the First United Methodist Church gym on 8 Mile Rd.

We offer traditional Scouts BSA program units for girls and boys ages 10-17 and a co-ed Venturing program for youth 14-20.

Our youth also run advancement assistance programs for area Webelos I and II Den Leaders.

Troop 777 Fall Service Project - Oct 24th

Our troop-wide service project is Oct 24 from 9 am - noon at FUMC.

We will be preparing the FUMC grounds for winter. Bring gloves, rake, trimmer, blowers, safety glasses and work boots. Refreshments will be provided.

Welcome New SPL - Alex Jund!

Alex and Joey Walker received the same number of votes during a run-off election. The Scouts decided that Alex will serve the Fall/Winter Term and Joey will serve the Spring/Summer term.

Congrats to all four Scouts that ran for the position. Each was well prepared and gave compelling arguments for their election.

Senior Patrol Leader Election on Oct 20th

The troop will be electing a new Senior Patrol Leader on Oct. 20th. It is important all Scouts attend and participate in determining who will run their troop for the next 6 months.

And the candidates are....Adam Bresson, Alex Jund, Johnny Vallespir, and Joey Walker. Candidates will give a short speech and each patrol will have an opportunity to ask each candidate questions.

Bring your cell phone - the current SPL will be using Text Message Polling (Poll Everywhere) to manage the voting process. Paper ballots will also be available.

1st Class Scouts and earlier ranks - bring your backpacks ready to hike. Leaders will review your gear and make suggestions. This is required for Tenderfoot rank and for attending the 10/24 backpacking outing. Pack list can be found at Click Here

Sign up for Cedar Point trip at http://troop777northville.org/node/1982 The Elders are looking for 10 scouts and 3 adults for a trip on Oct 24-25!

The cost is looking to be at lower than last year, so sign up now.

We will leave early Saturday for Cedar Point. We will spend the night tent camping at Camp Sandusky and return home by 2pm on Sunday. See Nathan Cromwell for more info.
