Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 777 - Programs for both Girls and Boys (Northville, MI)

   

Located in Northville, MI since 1999, we average between 50-80 co-ed Scouts.  

Meeting every Tuesday night during the school year at 7:30 pm (PLC starts at 7:00 pm) in the First United Methodist Church gym on 8 Mile Rd.

We offer traditional Scouts BSA program units for girls and boys ages 10-17 and a co-ed Venturing program for youth 14-20.

Our youth also run advancement assistance programs for area Webelos I and II Den Leaders.

New SOAR Accounts

You may be receiving an email with login information to access our troop website.  Anne has completed updating our troop management system with newly registered adults and has linked each parent to their youth.  Our system automatically sends login information to each member (youth and adult) using the email address on the new member record.  This  allows you to login to www.troop777northville.org and register for events and access secure pages on our website.  If you have any issues, please send an email to webmaster@troop777northville.org

You may also login and connect T777 calendar to your phone calendar using the Calendar Sync menu option.

Coming in December, we will be upgrading our Troopmaster system and each family will have easy access to update their membership  information as well as see detailed advancement data. 

Youth Leadership Positions Assigned Tonight

Welcome to our new Senior Patrol Leader - Owen Gibaratz and thank you to Matthew Martin for his past leadership!

Owen will be working with Mr. Bright to identify Scouts for the various leadership roles.  Scouts should attend tonight's meeting with a few positions in mind. A complete leadership team is essential for troop operation.

Scouts that served in Troop positions with Matthew, please turn in your signed Position of Responsibly form to Mrs. Felosak to get advancement credit.

Sign-up Tonight for Best Event Ever

The Best Event Ever is on Dec 8th.  It is not an overnight event but it is a surprise.  Scouts will be told where to arrive and what to bring and then will participate in a fun activity or three.  Parents will be told were and when to pick up Scouts.

Troop and Crew 777 Rechartering Past Due - check your status

Tuesday was the LAST day to submit recharter paperwork to the Front Desk staff,  If you missed the deadline, please contact  Colleen Sygar or Monifa Henry.

Scouts need to be registered to earn advancement

Adults need to be registered to attend camp or be in a leadership role

If you miss the recharter date, you may be required to submit a new BSA application and background check (for adults)

Order of Arrow Meeting and Brotherhood Opportunity - Thur 11/8

This Thursday, November 8th, there will be an OA  Jeopardy night at the monthly Ottawa meeting!
  • We hope you all will come and bring your best “intel” for a chance to win our jeopardy game.
  • Gather at 7:00, meeting will start at 7:30 at the Walled Lake Church of Christ on North Pontiac Trail.
  • Pizza and pop will also be available.
TO ALL BROTHERHOOD-ELIGIBLE MEMBERS, there will be a Brotherhood ceremony at this meeting too! 
  • After 10 months of service as an Ordeal member and fulfilling certain requirements, a member may take part in the Brotherhood ceremony
