Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 777 - Programs for both Girls and Boys (Northville, MI)

   

Located in Northville, MI since 1999, we average between 50-80 co-ed Scouts.  

Meeting every Tuesday night during the school year at 7:30 pm (PLC starts at 7:00 pm) in the First United Methodist Church gym on 8 Mile Rd.

We offer traditional Scouts BSA program units for girls and boys ages 10-17 and a co-ed Venturing program for youth 14-20.

Our youth also run advancement assistance programs for area Webelos I and II Den Leaders.

There will be a parent orientation meeting on March 26th for parents of all new Scouts.

Hiking & Cooking Contest- Location Change

Where - Location has changed.  We are going to D Bar A and will have use of a cabin.  

Why - Work on hiking merit badge & advancement / cooking merit badge & advancement - Patrol Cooking Contest

When - March 8 - 10, 2019

What - This will likely be a cold weather camping outing.  Dress in layers, no cotton, gloves, hats, hiking shoes, warm sleeping bag, day pack.  

Earn cool Pedro Trail Hiking Patch Set and be recognized at our Next Court of Honor!

Girl Troop Meets at 5pm Suburban Collect This Tuesday

Reminder that the Girl Troop is performing the flag ceremony at the Eagle recognition dinner this Tuesday. 

  • Arrive at Suburban Collection at 5pm in full Class A uniform (shirt / pants / belt)
  • I will have 777 neckerchiefs to borrow
  • Scout and Leader dinner tickets have been paid for, so you are encouraged to stay
  • Parents staying for opening only are free; those wishing to be seated can buy tickets at https://scoutingevent.com/272-BCC2019
  • Scout can be picked up at 9pm or car-pool

The event is relying on all 9 Scouts currently registered in order to carry all the flags.  If you cannot attend, please let David Tischler or Joe Walker know ASAP!

CPT Trek OA & NON OA 2/15 & 2/16

Join us for this special OA Chief Pontiac Trail (CPT) and Non OA Hike.  

Participants will receive a special OA Medal to be presented during the next Court Of Honor.  

What:  A Winter backpacking credential hike (each participant completing this will earn an OA Medal or serialized Winter CPT Medal)

When:  Friday night to Saturday noon. 2/15 & 2/16

Where: Proud Lake State Recreation Area
