Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 777 - Programs for both Girls and Boys (Northville, MI)

Located in Northville, MI since 1999, we average between 50-80 co-ed Scouts.

Meeting every Tuesday night during the school year at 7:30 pm (PLC starts at 7:00 pm) in the First United Methodist Church gym on 8 Mile Rd.

We offer traditional Scouts BSA program units for girls and boys ages 10-17 and a co-ed Venturing program for youth 14-20.

Our youth also run advancement assistance programs for area Webelos I and II Den Leaders.

New Scout Parent Orientation

On March 26th we will hold a new parent orientation from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the church

We will discuss the following topics to ensure the new parents to Troop 777 become familiar with the way the Troop operates.

Earn the BSA Interpreter Strip

2019 is the year the World Scout Jamboree returns to the USA. 40k Scouts from over 130 countries will spend 2 weeks at the greatest Scout camp in the world - Summit Bechtel Ranch.

BSA offers an Interpreter Strip for those that can meet the requirements in the following languages. Taking a language in school? Work with your teacher to complete the requirements.. Turn completed form into the Troop Advancement Chair and receive the Interpreter Strip at the next CoH.

777 Training for Adult Leaders - registration open

Parents, we are encouraging everyone who is attending camp outs or summer camp to take this course. While it is required for all assistant scoutmaster’s it would be good for committee members to understand the patrol method as well.

Eric Brown will be teaching the scoutmaster specific training course on March 23 at FUMC from noon to 430.

Northern Tier 2020 - Only 1 spot remains

We were awarded 2 crews of 8. One crew is full, the deposit for the second crew was due on 3/1 but we have not received 8 youth payments yet and are at risk of losing it.

If interested, please make a deposit on Tuesday, we will carry a waitlist of Scouts and adults.
