Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 777 - Programs for both Girls and Boys (Northville, MI)

   

Located in Northville, MI since 1999, we average between 50-80 co-ed Scouts.  

Meeting every Tuesday night during the school year at 7:30 pm (PLC starts at 7:00 pm) in the First United Methodist Church gym on 8 Mile Rd.

We offer traditional Scouts BSA program units for girls and boys ages 10-17 and a co-ed Venturing program for youth 14-20.

Our youth also run advancement assistance programs for area Webelos I and II Den Leaders.

Klondike Derby Update

The 777 Scouts braved the elements and brought home some great memories and great cold weather experience.

  • #Anonymous and Barbarian Patrols placed 2nd and 3rd in Sled Race.
  • Guest Webelos won 1st in joke contest
  • Most Scouts and leaders earned the Polar Bear Friday night (awarded at Feb 11th Court of Honor).

PLC Meeting Only Tonight - Regular Meeting Cancelled

All regular Troop activities have been rescheduled for next week.

The PLC will use this time to plan the 2nd half of the year.  PLC members are asked to arrive at 7pm. We should be wrapped up by 8:20pm

Digital Technology Merit Badge

Digital Technology replaced Computers merit badge following the 2013 Jamboree.  

Scouts interested in taking this merit badge should see the Scoutmaster for more information about upcoming opportunities in our area.

Cooking Merit Badge Now Required for Eagle

Effective January 1, 2014, Cooking Merit Badge will be required to obtain the Eagle Scout rank. Regardless of when a Scout earned the Life rank or began working toward Eagle, unless he fulfills all the rank requirements -- with the exception of his Board of Review -- before January 1, he must earn the Cooking merit badge to become an Eagle Scout.

CPR and Wilderness First Aid Certification Classes Available

CPR-AED Certification THIS SATURDAY - several seats are available for adults and Scouts 12 and over.  Cost is $40/person.  Sign-up online while seats last.  This class has now been opened up to all area Troops.  Contact scoutmaster@troop777northville.org with any questions.

Adam Helner and Troop invited to State of the State Address

Some exciting news for Troop 777.  Adam Helner was asked to be Senator Colbeck's guest at the Michigan State of the State Address this upcoming Thursday, January 16th at the State Capital.   The entire Troop is invited to attend.
