Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 777 - Programs for both Girls and Boys (Northville, MI)

   

Located in Northville, MI since 1999, we average between 50-80 co-ed Scouts.  

Meeting every Tuesday night during the school year at 7:30 pm (PLC starts at 7:00 pm) in the First United Methodist Church gym on 8 Mile Rd.

We offer traditional Scouts BSA program units for girls and boys ages 10-17 and a co-ed Venturing program for youth 14-20.

Our youth also run advancement assistance programs for area Webelos I and II Den Leaders.

Troop 777 Order of the Arrow Callout Ceremony on Friday

The entire troop and family guests are invited by the Troop 777 Order of the Arrow members to attend our bonfire and OA Indian Ceremony Callout ceremony.  Cracker-barrel will be served afterwards.

All scouts that were on the OA ballot in February should attend

When:  Friday April 15th at 8pm

Where: Maybury Group Campsite

2017 National Scout Jamboree

2017 National Scout Jamboree

Location:  Summit Bechtel Reserve, West Virginia

Dates:  July 15-28, 2017

Scout Registration Process

The registration process is a bit complicated because your Scout must have an account on my.scouting.org, then you must register on the Summit Jamboree site, and then you register and make your payments to the Council’s site.  Think of the registration process as part of the adventure!!!

Hey Crew - 90 days until our awesome adventure begins.

Please bring a check for the 2nd payment of $500 to the meeting tonight.  

We will have a crew meeting next week to discuss equipment.

Cycling Merit Badge

The Scouts that participated in the March 11th Bike and Hike campout should download the Cycling Merit Badge worksheet and complete the trip report for the 10 mile trek they participated in.  Review this report with Mr. Tischler to get your Blue Card requirement signed off. 

Our next Cycling Merit Badge organized events are:

      1. Road Test - date TBD (Hines Park)
      2. Bike Hike Campout - being planned by Matthew Martin for May 20-22nd.  Register here

Scouts should also have a merit badge pamphlet to study rules and skills prior to participating.

This is for adults who wish to become a merit badge counselor. Attending a merit badge training class is required to become a merit badge counselor.

SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION OPEN!!!

Summer camp will be at Camp Cole Canoe Base (1356 E. Greenwood Rd., Alger, MI)

from July 24th-June 30th, 2016

Camp Cole Base has become the scout's favorite.  Known for its plethora of merit badges, the river rump bump, and plenty of patrol activities, Cole is gearing up for an even better summer.
