Morton Chalom will be running Merit Badge Counselor training, 6:30pm on Monday March 26 at First Presbyterian Church in Northville.  It'll either be in the Chapel or Boll Hall. 

The calendar has been updated with some merit badge opportunities for this spring.  These events are not sponsored by Troop 777.  

For those Scouts interested please ensure you get with the ScoutMaster/Merit Badge Counselor and obtain a blue card before proceeding with the class. 

During tonights meeting (2/20) there will be a 15 minute planning meeting for those attending (leaders and scouts) Philmont in 2019.  We will begin discussions on dates, requirements, travel options and various other topics.  Please plan on being there if you can. 

All Scouts are asked to attend our meeting on February 20.   We need to have enough Scouts to have a valid election,   We would especially like to see our Eagle Scouts who are still registered.  This is VERY IMPORTANT.

Scout Sunday is February 11 and we celebrate it by spending time with our sponsor, the First United Methodist Church.   We would like all scouts to attend the service at meet us at 8:45 a.m.outside the Sanctuary.

Philmont crew members should attend this hike as a practice hike.

Turn in permission slip and Chief Pontiac Essay (first timers only)

The Chief Pontiac Trail Credential Hike (CPT) is a 1 night Winter backpacking trek.  You get to experience completing most of this hike at night under the moonlit sky.  You are home by noon on Saturday. 

This year is the 60th anniversary of the program and we will be participating along with other troops in a special anniversary event.

While all ranks may participate and earn a patch, must be 1st Class and complete all CPT report requirements to earn the credential medal.  Adults may also earn the medal.

Patch and medals will be awarded at a special Court of Honor.
