Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 777 - Programs for both Girls and Boys (Northville, MI)

   

Located in Northville, MI since 1999, we average between 50-80 co-ed Scouts.  

Meeting every Tuesday night during the school year at 7:30 pm (PLC starts at 7:00 pm) in the First United Methodist Church gym on 8 Mile Rd.

We offer traditional Scouts BSA program units for girls and boys ages 10-17 and a co-ed Venturing program for youth 14-20.

Our youth also run advancement assistance programs for area Webelos I and II Den Leaders.

Best Event Ever - Blue Phoenix Patrol

The location is a surprise and is being planned by the Blue Phoenix Patrol. 

Bring $30 cash for the evening and meet at FUMC by 6pm on Friday (December 6th).  Home by ~11PM. 

Dress in your Blue Class B shirt. 

Suggest eating dinner before you come.  If not, food can be purchased for around $10 additional.

Our Newest Eagle Scout - Robert Sygar

We now have one more Eagle Scout as of 11/13/2019! Robert Sygar successfully completed his Board of Review and will be awarded the Eagle rank. Thank you to all of the adults who supported the effort!

Meeting Cancelled for 11/12

Due to the weather and many school cancellations on 11/12 (Tuesday) the Scout Meeting has been cancelled.  When school is cancelled our normal policy is to cancel the meeting.

Hiking Merit Badge

Next Tuesday, November 12, there will be a Hiking Merit Badge workshop right before the regular meeting (starting 7:00 at FUMC).  Merit Badge Counselor, Mr. Koilpillai, will be discussing #1, #2, and #3.  If you do your pre-work (alias, print out merit badge worksheets and write out the answers to those questions) and participate in the discussion/demonstrate knowledge of the material, you will get those requirements signed off.  Please bring your blue card.  If you do not have a blue card for this merit badge, we will have one there for you.  If we do not finish, we will schedule another workshop.

2019 Annual Fall Feast - Camp Munhacke

Camp Munhacke, Gregory, MI

November 8-10, 2019

Fall in at FUMC for Feast by 6:00 PM.   WE NEED TO LEAVE AS CLOSE TO 6:30 AS POSSIBLE.

Return by 12 pm Sunday.

We will utilize the Dining Hall (to the right as you enter the camp) and will have use of a cabin (Commanche to left as you enter the park), if necessary. 

Weather:  Lows in 20's Highs in 30's.  Please bring proper winter layered clothing.  Extra sleeping blanket or regular blanket is ok, we have the space.

If you have not paid yet, please do so at the front desk

Feast dinner is at 4:30 pm Saturday.
