Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 777 - Programs for both Girls and Boys (Northville, MI)

   

Located in Northville, MI since 1999, we average between 50-80 co-ed Scouts.  

Meeting every Tuesday night during the school year at 7:30 pm (PLC starts at 7:00 pm) in the First United Methodist Church gym on 8 Mile Rd.

We offer traditional Scouts BSA program units for girls and boys ages 10-17 and a co-ed Venturing program for youth 14-20.

Our youth also run advancement assistance programs for area Webelos I and II Den Leaders.

Aaron Boyd - Eagle Project

What: Aaron Boyd Eagle Project

When: 9:00am-4pm (or completion, I do not anticipate it taking this long) July 24th (Saturday)

Where: Faith Covenant Church: 35415 W 14 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48331

Description:

We will be building a fire pit and benches for the church. All building materials will be at the site; we will need to create a base, assemble the fire pit, and construct the benches. Due to the nature of the activity, you should wear suitable clothes (not Class A) and bring work gloves.

Helpful tools to bring are shovels, cordless electric screwdrivers, paintbrushes, and cordless orbital sanders. The church will be open for restrooms/sinks/water fountains. I will also provide bottled water. If you plan on staying during lunch time BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH (which can be stored inside).

Inventing Merit Badge Online

For scouts interested in earning the Inventing Merit Badge from the United States Patent and Trademark Office, please see link below.  Though the merit badge is offered through National Capitol Area Council, scouts from other councils can join.  Eight more days left to join as of July 1,2021 and the best part is everything is on Zoom.  There is $10 registration cost. 

Can Drive - Natalie Deneweth

Natalie Deneweth is doing a can drive so if people have cans they could contact Natalie at Natmaried07@gmail.com or +1 (248) 826-0166 that would be greatly appreciated to make arrangements.  Natalie is also working on her Silver Award for Girl Scouts and needs to raise funds to support her project.  She is building a gaga ball pit for Parkview Elementary School.

Event #1. Landscaping Clean-Up at the Living and Learning Center

We will spend a few hours cleaning up the landscaping at the Living and Learning Center's property at 315 Griswold St.  This is the green house adjacent to the Mill Race Village parking lot - you can park at Mill Race Village.
