Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 777 - Programs for both Girls and Boys (Northville, MI)

   

Located in Northville, MI since 1999, we average between 50-80 co-ed Scouts.  

Meeting every Tuesday night during the school year at 7:30 pm (PLC starts at 7:00 pm) in the First United Methodist Church gym on 8 Mile Rd.

We offer traditional Scouts BSA program units for girls and boys ages 10-17 and a co-ed Venturing program for youth 14-20.

Our youth also run advancement assistance programs for area Webelos I and II Den Leaders.

2018 Seabase Program - Registration Begins March 1

We have submitted 2 crews for the 2018 lottery.  Crew awards will be announced March 1st and Troop 777 will have 3 weeks to submit crew deposits. 

If you are interested in the 2018 Sea Base trip, please sign-up on our event calendar to indicate your interest and to ensure you receive further communications.  After March 1st, a non-refundable deposits will be required to secure your spot on the crew.  We will have to give up any partial crews at that time.

Thanks to all Scouts and Scouters for representing Troop 777 for Scout Sunday at FUMC; we had a great day and our best participation to date.  I received very positive comments from several Church Members.

OA Elections Day - We Need Strong Attendance to Hold Election

Several Scouts are eligible for this years Order of the Arrow election; however:

    • We need more than 50% of 777 Scouts in attendance on Tuesday in order to hold the election
    • Please make every effort to be at this meeting 
    • Please wear your OA sash if a current member 

Through election by their peers, the Order of the Arrow, Scouting’s National Honor Society, recognizes those Scouts who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives.

The joint 103 and 777 Pig Roast was a success and the 777 boys brought home some hardware....Including the 5th year in a row of winning the Sled Race. 

I understand they set a course record - 1st team to finish under 2 minutes.
