Welcome to Scouts BSA Troop 777 - Programs for both Girls and Boys (Northville, MI)

Located in Northville, MI since 1999, we average between 50-80 co-ed Scouts.

Meeting every Tuesday night during the school year at 7:30 pm (PLC starts at 7:00 pm) in the First United Methodist Church gym on 8 Mile Rd.

We offer traditional Scouts BSA program units for girls and boys ages 10-17 and a co-ed Venturing program for youth 14-20.

Our youth also run advancement assistance programs for area Webelos I and II Den Leaders.

Friday 6:30pm -> Chief Pontiac Trail Medal Award Ceremony (both Regular and OA trek)

Who - all current OA members (Class A with sash)

1st Year Scout Skills Campout Registration Due

Calling all new Scouts and Life Scouts for this weekend's skills campout.

Please register online or at the meeting.

Life Scouts will earn their EDGE Method rank requirement and new Scouts will learn the basic outdoor skills needed for rank and to be successful in the outdoors.

First OA Callout Ceremony and Upcoming Sash and Bash

The first OA ceremony will be held on April 21st. Everyone who was on the ballot must attend. Also, Sash and Bash will take place from May 19 to 21st. There will be many activities at this event and will be a great opportunity for service hours.

Who should attend the OA Call-outs on Apr 21?

The entire Troop is asked to attend the Order of the Arrow bonfire and formal Call-out of newly elected OA members to be held on Friday night, April 21 at Kensington Group Camp (starting at dusk).

Scouts that were on the Troop 777 OA election ballot will find out if they have been elected during this Call-out Ceremony. The results are not available prior to this event.

After the OA ceremony finishes, we are staying at the Group Camp for our 1st Year Skills campout. Older Scouts are responsible for passing on their knowledge by teaching these skills to any Scout not yet 1st Class.

DEPOSIT DUE TODAY 3/28 - Sea Base Coral Reef Sailing Adventure

Today is the last day to make a deposit. We are a few deposits short of filling the second crew and a small wait list.

What: Florida Coral Reef Sailing and Everglades Airboat Adventure from July 3 - 10, 2018.

And: Additional side trips include "Feed the Tarpin" tank and "Robert is In" milkshake stand.

Refund Policy: Please review the details of this adventure on the event page. If you wish to participate, please make a $100 check or $103 PayPal deposit by March 28^th. Unfilled crews will be canceled after March 28th.
